David A. Looney is a life long resident of the greater Akron community. He graduated form the University of Akron in 1971 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science, and thereafter attended the University of Akron School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor degree with admission to the Ohio Bar in 1974. After law school David joined the City of Akron Law Department where he served as an Assistant Director of Law and Assistant Prosecutor. In 1982 David accepted a partnership with a major Akron firm where he practiced law until starting his own firm, David A. Looney Co. LPA, in 1997.

        David is licensed to practice before all Ohio local, state, and federal courts, and has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Ohio Association of Trial Lawyers. In addition, David is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum wherein membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients.

        For 30 years David A. Looney has served the legal needs of northeastern Ohio residents. David is an approved legal services provider to the members of several legal insurance programs, and is a member of the AARP Attorney Network.

John P. Alexander, Jr.

John P. Alexander, Jr. is licensed to practice in all Ohio State Courts. He graduated with honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a double major in Accounting and Business Pre-Law and a minor in Spanish. John has studied abroad in Mexico and Costa Rica and is fluent with the Spanish language. John attended the University of Akron School of Law, where he graduated in the top third of his class. While at Law School John served as president of the Student Ba Association, and was on the prestigious Mock Trial Team which was rated in competition as second in the nation.

       John takes pride in being a trial lawyer. He is a zealously advocate, the results of which frequently bring his clients great success. John practices in the areas of Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Domestic Relations, Juvenile Law, and Traffic Law. He is a member of the Akron Bar Association, Ohio Academy of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
